Prelude

Prelude expresses a vision of a society where people’s abilities and dreams can grow and flourish instead of being limited by circumstances. It imagines a place where opportunities allow potential to unfold naturally, and where hope is not something rare or temporary, but a constant and living presence in everyday life.

The dancer in this painting, Portia Tabola, was the first student to become part of the Rhythm of Hope Outreach Programme and to graduate from it. She is now a ballet instructor.
